Having the responsibilities of a parent most of her life has made16 year-old Beth a very mature young adult. Showing the love of a great big sister, she often had to make sure that her younger brother and sister had something to eat and clean clothes to wear. Beth has entered the workforce and has a part time job at Publix that she loves, her grades are the highest they have ever been, and she’s ready for an adoptive home. Beth cares greatly for her biological family, and wants to find a home where her younger sister and brother can be a family again.
Patricia (or Patty) is 14 years old, and like many other 8th graders, enjoys school but not so much the homework. She loves talking on the phone and sleeping in on weekends. Patty would travel the world given the opportunity, soaking in everything and taking pictures as she goes. Patty can be quiet and shy with adults until she is familiar with them, but will come out of her shell for a family that will encourage her to fulfill her potential.
At only 9 years-old, JJ is already developing into quiet a student-athlete. JJ thrives in any team sport that allows him to run, jump, and make friends. He carries this passion into the classroom where he an excellent student with loads of potential. JJ is in a school that helps him to express his emotions and needs and to feel comfortable talking with adults. Occasionally, he lets his frustration get the best of him, but only needs a few minutes to regain his composure. JJ is in need of a patient family, that will give him the support and caring he will need to become a man.
