With his beautiful, big brown eyes and a terrific smile, Devante will steal your heart! Devante can also be defined by his love of sports, especially football. Devante states that he loves football and that his favorite NFL team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He hopes to play for the Buccaneers someday.
There is much potential in this young man – he just needs help finding it. Devante has an educational plan with special resource classes to help with reading and writing skills. He receives counseling and medication to help sort through the inner and outer turmoil he faces.
Devante will need a special family, one that is willing to tough out the hard times and be persistent with a child that sometimes has difficult behavior, but whom also wants to love and be loved by a family. What this youngster really needs is a stable ‘you stop here’ family that is able to provide firm guidelines and lots of attention.
